Meet the Designer

Hi, I’m Meg, a spatial designer specializing in interior, landscape, and hospitality projects. My work blends playful details, elegant structure, and human-centered warmth to create gathering spaces that feel alive and inviting.

I approach each project holistically, considering how people move, connect, and emotionally experience a space. Intentionality is always the center of my design focus, ensuring that every element, from layout to materials, contributes to a space that is cohesive, surprising, and captivating.

Design Perspective

  • I blend functionality, human-centered thinking, and emotional intuition with a tactile, story-driven design process that results in thoughtfully curated and immersive environments.

  • I prioritize intention, function, and experience, designing spaces where every choice is deliberate, every element works seamlessly, and every moment feels inviting.

  • Design has always been my way of connecting with the world around me, allowing me to curate spaces that mirror my inner world and nurture my most fundamental human needs: connection, creativity, and exploration.

Hobbies & Creative Work

  • Shooting film helps me slow down, absorb my surroundings, notice the small details in nature, and appreciate the candid, in-between moments with friends.

  • Getting my hands into the soil has always helped me feel grounded, present, and patient. I feel rewarded by the growth that emerges at the end of every season, and am always reminded that consistent care is the foundation for change.

  • I’ve always loved the tinkering process of bringing weathered objects back to life, exploring their mechanics and figuring out how each part works. My two most recent refurbishes are a 1953 Olympia SM3 typewriter and a 1979 Canon AE-1 film camera.

  • I fell in love with sewing at age twelve, a skill taught to me by a dear friend’s grandmother. Sewing lets my creativity and resourcefulness lead the way, and it’s my favorite way to give unique, personal gifts.

  • Getting outside is essential to my creative process. Being immersed in nature lets me observe how texture and form coexist, grounding me and recharging my design ethos.
